Lesson-aware AI tutor

Beta

Learn with an AI Teacher that knows your lesson

Polyglot World's AI Teacher works inside Lessons V2. It can use the current lesson and activity as context, so you can ask for explanations, examples, hints, extra practice, and guided role-play without starting from a blank chat.

Beta tutor: The Teacher is in active development. Real learner use helps us improve lesson grounding, tutoring actions, role-play, voice behavior, and the point at which the Teacher should help—or stay out of the way.

What you can ask the AI Teacher to do

Explain the lesson

Ask for a simpler explanation or clarification of the point you are currently learning.

Give a stronger hint

Get help without immediately revealing the answer when you are stuck.

Show an example

Generate a short lesson-grounded example instead of switching to a generic chatbot.

Practise one more item

Use focused micro-practice to check whether the idea is becoming clear.

Try guided role-play

Practise short lesson-related exchanges with bounded turns and correction controls.

Use voice where available

Voice input and spoken replies depend on account access and current feature availability.

Example

“Why was my answer wrong?”

Instead of giving a generic grammar lecture, the Teacher can use the current activity, your attempt state, and the lesson objective to explain the relevant point and offer a short follow-up practice item.

A tutor, not an answer machine

The Teacher is designed to support the learning task in front of you: explain when needed, give bounded hints, create small practice, and keep role-play focused. Learner-authored questions, transcripts, and lesson answers are not sent to product analytics.
